Tremendously nice book! （2003-11-28）
I'm a non-native English teacher. I use this book as a teaching/learning material. The book is full of wisdom, not just good for English, but for seeking "the way of youth". If you happen to feel bored with your life, please just open the book, which has several chapters, where you can start to read it any time. It would surely replace your boredom with enjoyment out of the author's compassion towards and consideration for young people.

私は英語の勉強とかでいろいろペーパーバック等を読むようにしているのですが、最近はどうもやはり中身がもっと濃いもの、人生考えさせるso deepな本をどうせ英語で読むなら読みたいと思っていたところにちょうどよい本がありました。
英語勉強等で中身ある英語を求めている特に１０代、２０代の皆さん。内容があってすばらしい英語がこの本にはいっぱいあります。しかもこれは、若者にありそう、誰でも疑問に持ちそうな質問に対して１つ１つ分割してページを割いていますから、今日はこれ、今日はこの２ページと少ないページ数でも継続できます、内容がいいのでどんどん読みたくなります。

This book is one of my favorites. It's an excellent collection of Daisaku Ikeda's responses to the questions of today's young people. "The Way of Youth" includes topics like building confidence, respecting yourself and others, developing happiness from within, dealing with peer pressure and contributing to a peaceful world. This book is written for a general audience and will appeal to both teens and parents regardless of their religious beliefs.
I also highly recommend a book called "Open Your Mind, Open Your Life: A Little Book of Eastern Wisdom" by a young American author named Taro Gold.

Daisaku Ikedaで、サーチした方、若し貴方が英語で著者の本を読みたいとおもった方でしたら、学生さんでも社会人の方でもこの本は解かり易い文章で書いてあります｡ 本来であれば、１０代の方への先生のメッセージですが、いいえ、大人の方でもしっかり通じるご指導です｡ 英語のお勉強中の社会人の方、私も含めてですが、先生の本を英語で読みたい方、是非お勧めです｡また、英語を一生懸命お勉強している学生の方、読んで下さい！
